Innovation is the core of our business
Research and innovation are important for Abyssens, in particular regarding underwater acoustics and artificial intelligence.
Our willingness to maintain a direct link with research is reflected by an investment of the company in R&D on projects benefitting to the scientific community or in link with the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) in coastal areas.
Innovation approved by the French authorities

The R&D involvement of Abyssens has been recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Abyssens has the CIR accreditation (for research approval) and the CII accreditation (for innovation and prototype approval), in the fields of artificial intelligence, underwater acoustics and signal and image processing.
Conferences
To maintain contact and sharing with the scientific community, Abyssens is present in international conferences, such as the « The effect of noise on aquatic life » (Den Haag – July-2019).
